LEAH
ASHER
MEANINGLESS WORK is an interdisciplinary collaboration between Leah Asher and Nicolee Kuester that filters everyday experiences through a mixture of experimental performance practices. Revelling in the absurdity, beauty, and solitude of our lives, we seek to share moments of personal truth and vulnerability with our audiences. Drawing on our varied backgrounds, our work and our programming of works by others explores elements of contemporary art music with physical and object theatre, performance poetry, and live visuals. As we continue to develop immersive long-form performances, we are constantly reimagining the ways in which we interact with our audiences and broadening the scope of our movement practice as performers.
